The Proud Archivist is an architect-designed 400 person capacity multi-purpose events space, bar and restaurant. Located in the up-and-coming 'Haggerston Riviera' smack bang in between Shoreditch and Dalston, the venue has a unique position on Regents Canal with its peaceful views and resident narrow boats.
Regents Canal is the busiest stretch of canal in the UK, regularly handling in excess 500 walkers, runners, cyclists every hour.
Our outside terraces are the perfect for summer events and pop-ups. The Kings Terrace is an amazing spot to capitalise on the high footfall in the area. We have hosted Yolk London, Where the Pancakes Are, Earls Cheese Steak and Etch Food in the last few months alone.
We also have 3 amazing inside areas perfect for events, products showcases, exhibitions and pop-up shops. Clients who have used our spaces in the last 6 months include Airbnb, Academy Films, Beefeater, Barclaycard, BBDO, Coca Cola, Channel 4, Google creative, Fitch, Guardian, Keo Films, Nesta, O2, Visual DNA, Yougov, QMUL, UCL, ITV, Hyper-island.
Our usual policy for pop-ups and residencies is to work on a percentage of sales + bar. But we always like a chat and we look at each proposal on a case by case basis.
We are currently looking for pop-ups for the Kings Terrace specifically. The weather is warming up, it's a great spot that opens directly onto the canal and all its traffic. If you wish to hold a pop-up or an event at The Proud Archivist we would love to hear from you.
