General Information
Hackney House welcomes the use of its spaces for events, presentations, networking, meetings, conferences, exhibitions, product launches, showcase, promotional events and as communication environment to serve the local Hackney community and its businesses.
The venue is comprised of:
- a ground floor event space, which can accommodate up to 300 attendees
- a first floor break-out space with bar and roof terrace for up 150
- 2 meetings rooms on the second floor which can accommodate 20-30 people each.
The ground floor café, while open to the public, can also be used for break out groups if required.
With a full premises licence covering the provision of plays, films, live and recorded music, dance and digital exhibitions, it's the perfect venue for those 'out of the box' type of events.
The onsite café and in-house food team can cater for all events, providing anything from a welcome coffee to a full range of innovative and modern dishes.
Being at the heart of tech city, we are used to supporting companies with high demands when it comes to presentation equipment. We have an almost limitless supply of equipment through our partner companies and will be glad to provide quotes for all your audio-visual needs.
Event curating service:
Hackney House also offers a complete event curating service: we can provide event design, graphics, furnishings, staging, props and installations, character actors, flowers or anything else required to perfect your event. We will endeavour to secure the best rates for you from local suppliers, while ensuring that the specification fits your requirements.
Hackney House offers a variety of discounts on venue hire rates, subject to qualifying terms and conditions. Hackney-based SMEs and not-for-profit organisations can benefit from these preferential rates.
