COAST BY COAST is a coastal lifestyle shop inspired by the nomadic nature of travel. Custom built out of a 1972 Volkswagen bus, the brands aboard the bus are carefully chosen in support of quality, design, attitude and approach.
THE INSIDE SHELVES //
Passers-by are always curious to view the inside of the bus! The product on the top shelf is often a lure to hop inside because it can be seen from afar. The top shelf is a prime spot for taller, eye-catching objects. The bottom shelf offers an element of discovery and reward of curiosity. This space lends itself nicely to smaller or stackable items.
ABOUT THE CO-FOUNDERS //
Co-founders Kristen and Jordana met on a summer day in 2009 on New York's Lower East Side. The two quickly bonded over the great outdoors, bikini's and how all they needed for a weekend out of the city was a hammock, a hat and a sturdy pair of hiking boots.
Jordana Longo is a bicoastal stylist, FIT graduate and entrepreneur. From a very early age, her favorite outfit, rain, shine, sleet or snow, was her bathing suit. Not much has changed. Whether it's a trip to London, India, Guatemala or Copenhagen, a bikini is the first thing she packs. She credits her extensive travels in refining her eye for design. Previously she was the culture editor at Stylesight, in PR at Stella McCartney and has contributed and collaborated with RANGE Magazine, The Block Magazine and BBGUN Films.
Kristen Cleary is a swimwear connoisseur, Ohio State business graduate and creative creature. She has over ten years experience working as a buyer and merchandiser in the swim and active industries; spending a majority of her career building and launching these respective businesses at Victoria's Secret. On a typical day, you will most likely find Kristen on the beach, off the beaten path, uncovering places yet to be discovered. So, it's with no surprise she has been known to sleep with sand in her bed. Kristen loves cultivating her passion for outdoor photography.
