Cooks Yard is a beautiful and unique co-working space set in an attic warehouse in Stepney Green. The warehouse is in Captain Cooks Yard, named as such because this is the site where Captain Cook himself lived until 1779.

We have two rooms at Cooks Yard, one of which is suitable for WeArePopUp users - it is a single room of approx. 600sq. ft, which has basic kitchen facilities, a desk, two sofas and kitchen table (all of which can also be moved to create more space).

This space could work very well for a brainstorming session or creative meeting. Or for a product launch or special event or similar.

This is an unusual, attractive and versatile space set in the attic eaves of a warehouse. The room however still feels lovely and light and spacious.

Within the space there is a small corner kitchen unit, a round dining table and chairs, a worktable, and also two sofas and coffee table. Any items of furniture can be moved or disassembled, within reason.

Cooks Yard is a friendly and calm coworking space likely to appeal to sole freelancers and start-up businesses keen to base themselves in the east end.

We are just off the Mile End Road, minutes from Whitechapel and Stepney Green stations.

We have 16 desks at Cooks Yard and are a peaceful and informal coworking space that is very similar in feel and style to Winkley Studios, our original workspace in Bethnal Green, which is now almost always fully let due to its popularity.

Cooks Yard is kitted-out with all the essentials: large desks, fast Internet, free coffee and tea, and friendly work colleagues!
