Stage 3 cafe is a new community space located in the hearth of Hackney, at the ground floor of the Hackney Empire, one of London's most important popular arts complexes.
Stage 3 provides a stunning new space for artists and the community to come together to nurture the creative seeds of a dynamic urban life.
The space opened in July 2014 as the permanent home of Platterform, the creative food & drink company behind some of the most innovative pop-up events, cocktail bars and restaurants on London rooftops.
With the introduction of an inspirational food and drink menu and a lively music & art programme, Stage 3 offers visitors a true feast for all five senses. Manifesting as a weekly programme of immersive events STAGE 3 will play host to a number of regular creative concepts.
The cafe is open Monday - Friday from 8am in the morning serving up speciality coffee courtesy of BLACK BOX and brunch from 11am. The space also includes a in-house evolving record shop with select music releases from local independent labels and featuring artists.
The mezzanine is an open space with its own bar. This is located at the back of the main bar and it is accessible via staircase by the main entrance. The space has natural light, white walls and wooden floors throughout.
